Come to see me at the Delancey Lounge tonight at 10 PM (come earlier for the rest of the show) at PUSSY FAGGOT, a fun show headlined by Penny Arcade and Sophia Lamar. Get Gerrified, get that makeover, look like me and you will feel so much better. It’s only for a moment but WHAT a moment! Down with yuppies, up with Gerrys!! I am bringing happiness and joy to America and so can you. My station will be on the roof. Join me.
Best,
Gerry Visco
Doors open at 7:45p. Glenn Marla’s HEAVY begins at 8p (basement level). ART FAG CITY hosted happy hour from 9p – 10p with open vodka bar, DJ DAWN RIGHT NASTY (Royal Vauxhall Tavern, London) & screening of Ryan Trecartin’s “P.opular S.ky” — And that’s JUST THE BEGINNING!
RSVP by 5p today for discounted admission ($6 instead of $10 at the door). rsvp@http://www.facebook.com/l/5e72e;pussyfaggot.net It’s my last big, extravaganza before moving to SF for two months, so come out and get your fix!
I am very sad to announce that Bambi Lake is stuck in San Francisco. KENNY MELLMAN has decided to do a personal tribute to Bambi, performing a couple of her songs and reading one of her poems. This will happen on the main level in the first performance set which should start around 10:30p.
Also added on the rooftop level, GERRY VISCO will install at GERRIFICATION STATION as part of her ongoing “Gerrification Project” where you too can don the colorful persona of Ms. Visco!
For a full run of show (subject to change, of course) visit:

JEREMY WADE has enlisted the support of two tremendously hyper-talented musicians, MIKE SKINNER and PETE DRUNGLE. (I have him on the basement level, but that might change once Jeremy sees the condition of the floor!) And word has it that BRIAN KENNY has been recruited for GIO BLACK PETER’s performance… going back-to-back with STREET HERO. (We’re testing the sprinkler system this afternoon because that shit is gonna be hot!!!)
NIKNAZ has created a very cool PUSSY FAGGOT! video installation to provide some sizzle to the first floor dance party, and The Delancey has some of the dance lighting from Studio B installed in the basement where we have DJs from the QUEERHANA COLLECTIVE (Tel Aviv).
I’m trying to keep this brief (HA!), but it’s like SOPHIE’S CHOICE. I got to get everyone in here, man. I mean, JUAN SON is new to me and probably new to you, but he’s a pop star in Mexico. Plus his enthusiastic response to the invitation to perform was: “If i have to wear a corset and shoot myself out of a canon, I”ll be there!” Come on! That’s adorable!! I think Juan and M. LAMAR will make an interesting compliment to one another. Plus we’ve got the musical theatrics of ENID ELLEN, the vocal realness of JO LAMPERT and a set full of surprises featuring the music of WILL LARCHE (aka BILLY PELT).
Later in the night, JORDAN FOX keeps his New Year’s resolution to create performance art, turning it out in an over-the-top number during LADY MISS KIER’s DJ set.
PHEW!!! All that for SIX LOUSY DOLLARS if you RSVP! Now that is recession-friendly pricing, folks!!!
Hope to see you tonight!
